Victims of Crime and the Media

In 1996 I began a three year Master of Arts Degree in Professional Development at the University of East Anglia.

The course was one of part-time study which included research within the work place.

My main subject was the effect that the Media has on Victims of Crime. My university work is now available from here.

I start with the main body of my work which was the 16,000 word final dissertation. Follow the following links to read the text.

Then follows my previous work on the subject and also a number of articles which have appeared in various journals.

Chapter One - Introduction and Aims
Chapter Two - The Media Explosion
Chapter Three - Media Guidelines. Do They Exist?
Chapter Four - Final Thoughts
Chapter Five - The Next Step
