The Stewards hobbies are wide and varied.
Peter has helped over the years with a number of charities and was a member of Round Table.
He has also undertaken counselling duties as a Samaritan. For many years he was a member of the Hethersett Middle School PTA and also a governor, spending 10 years as chair of governors. He has been chair of Hethersett Athletic Football Club for the past 10 years and is also founder and chair of the Hethersett and The Meltons Sports Association and Development Officer for Hethersett and Tas Valley Cricket Club and a trustee of Hethersett Memorial Playing Field. Peter is also village sports co-ordinator for Hethersett for Active Norfolk.
He is passionate about music - enjoying everything from classical to heavy metal, but with a particular interest in early 70s American singer-songwriters and British progressive rock.
He also enjoys art, literature and most sports and is a season ticket holder at Norwich City Football Club.
Anne is a member of Hethersett Methodist Church where she was a former steward. She has also been chair of Hethersett's inter-church group. She is also currently a community governor at Hethersett High School and works on a volunteer basis half a day a week at the MacMillan charity shop in the village.
She enjoys gardening, reading and travelling - the latter passion which she shares with her husband. She too is a season ticket holder at Carrow Road.
A couple of years ago Anne started attending art classes in the village and now regularly paints. Examples of her work are available on this site.
Chris is a keen music and sports fan and is an accomplished soccer player and also holds coaching qualifications in rugby. A Sussex county football player, he currently plays for Little Common in the Sussex County League.
Matt enjoys most sports and spends much of his spare time with Hethersett Athletic FC and Hethersett and Tas Valley Cricket Club where he is an accomplished all-rounder
